Jeffrey has mentored and coached several of our clients with outstanding results. His calm ability to relay vital feedback to the performer without robbing them of their own unique voice, is the key to his success. The overwhelming positive response, both from the casting community and the actors he trains, is evident.

The second I get an audition I ring up Mr. Stubblefield! Why?! Because I know on top of his insane professionalism that his unparalleled talent and ability to breakdown a character is like getting the key to a treasure chest! He makes “becoming” a character personal, real, honest, tangible and so second nature you forget you’re acting. And as if creating that superfluous blend isn’t enough he dumps barrels of confidence on you to make you feel unstoppable in the room no matter what may happen. So if you’re looking for a powerhouse to prime you for that role then do yourself a favor and work with Mr. Stubblefield. Trust me, he’s goooooood!

Jeffrey Stubblefield is the best! I have been working with him consistently for about 6 months and he has not only helped me strengthen and hone my approach to acting, he has helped me love it as a craft even more than I had before. Having Jeffrey as my coach was a welcomed solution to my desire to work in an in-depth way, which I wasn’t able to find as easily in a class. He is a highly trained and gifted actor - having studied with Bill Esper in New York - and his guidance is accurate and to the point, but delivered with such care and understanding. If you are looking for an on-going coach like me, or need help prepping your auditions, Jeffrey is your guy!

Working with Jeffrey truly helped me to discover what it was about myself that I could bring to the character. By taking the most real and honest approach to the scene, I was able to recognize the unwritten subtleties that proved to be gold in my audition!

Jeffrey is an acting coach that gives tirelessly until the actor feels completely comfortable with the audition scene. Without further complicating the already intense process of auditioning, he takes the actor back to the basic meat of the scene and the important art of listening. Jeffrey focuses on the actor’s strengths and how to build on them, without an unnecessary emphasis on what the actor may be lacking. He has pulled some of the best performances of my career out of me, and has helped me land many professional jobs in the industry. When you are looking for a serious coach, he’s the one.

Jeffrey is a very gifted coach. I have worked with many coaches over the years and Jeffrey is by the far the best. Jeffrey is an actor, with real life experience to draw from. He knows what it’s like “being in the room.” Jeffrey asks the right questions to help uncover the scene and get the actor to a place of comfort. I plan on using Jeffrey for every audition.

Just worked with Jeffrey for the first time, after he came recommended by my representation. I thought I knew my audition sides relatively well, until Jeffrey helped me uncover a lot that I missed. He was very to-the-point and open to my opinions at the same time. I felt more grounded and confident in this audition, and I’m eager to work with him again. If you’re reading this, Jeffrey, thank you!

Jeffrey’s coaching is uniquely effective in that he helps you find your way into the material organically from a real place of truth. He works from the inside out making the resulting audition grounded and specific to the actor, allowing for their voice and individuality to surface.

I worked for the first time with Jeffrey today, and was really impressed. He treated me like an equal, respected my choices and my time, and helped me clean and specify until we had something I was extremely proud of. I really appreciated the way Jeffrey didn’t aim override my own choices and vision, but worked to enhance it - It was almost like having his second pair of eyes, crisped up the choices I was already making, rather than him eclipsing my own ideas with his own. He gave me insights in moments where I was lacking them, and with just a few tweaks, gave my character a continuity and believability I didn’t have going in. Very grateful for his time and his eye.

Jeffrey is an incredibly thoughtful and supportive coach. He has helped me fine-tune my intentions within a scene in such a way that my connection to each moment has been elevated, alive, and meaningful. He has effortlessly guided me to many “A-ha!” moments as we’ve delved deeper into the heart and mind of characters and relationships. Most importantly, I’ve never felt “blocked” of “over-directed” by Jeffrey. At the end of a session, the preparation feels organic, complex, and truthful, and gives me the confidence to simply trust myself and play when I walk into the audition room. The first time I coached with Jeffrey, he helped guide me all the way to a series regular test deal for a pilot. I can’t recommend him enough.
